    Title : of VacASEAN updates
    Time : 4:34 PM

Cat city travel's travel agent would e-mail me soon regarding the details of the Rain forest Festival packages. The rates at FourPoints (by Sheraton) near the airport - Rm 740, Hilton - Rm730, Merdeka Palace - Rm740 n Harbour View - Rm630 and as for Damai Puri resort - Rm1450. (didn't realise it's quite ex)

The hotel rates include day-pass/ticket which costs RM90.00 ea with 1-day validity per ticket. They also incl the transport to n from Damai. They say it is standard price everywhere. Can check on-line. The most expensive is Damai Puri Resort. The package prices are for 3 days or 4 days ie abt Rm630 - Rm740 divided by 3 days or 2 nights depending on how you calculate. If another friend wants to bunk into the room to share they charge RM60 per mattress per night incl. breakfast.

It takes 45 mins to travel to the festival if we stay in town but staying in town in hotels like Hilton/Merdeka would mean they are 4 or 5-star hotel with all the fine dinning etc n we can go around the city on our own. HabourView is a smaller hotel n it's opp Star cineplex with no perks. Four Points' advantages are that it is very near the airport, just a stone's throw, and its the newest hotel here n managed by Sheraton. But not in the heart of the city. There are lots of Foodcourts around tho and 5-min drive from my house.

So what do you think? The prices haven't included airfare yet (would be quite cheap with AirAsia or JetStar).. so think about it and let me know :)

    xoxo
