    Title : of well-overdue updates
    Time : 3:30 PM

hey peeps! i'm back in malaysia!!! omg.. i miss home so so much! finally can relax for real.. ahhh :)
    so.. updates!!
after being MIA for about 3 months or so, i'm finally posting up sth :)
term ended on the 14th and i went to italy for about 5 days for sightseeing. it was pretty awesome.. went with darrel, ten and 4 other msians.. visited tourist hot spots like the Colosseum, Vatican City, bath (filled with saphophagus), many many churches and other ruins. these were in rome.. we stayed in a B&B, which probably stands for broken and building.. haha. honestly, the conditions were quite terrible at first. there had like scaffolding around the stairway area (dunno how long it's been there - either to hold the place up or they are renovating.. then again, rome's basically a city of ruins so.. :D) the room conditions were ok, minus the extremely precarious bunk bed. the bed frame holding the bed on top pratically swayed and creaked each time the top or bottom person moved. quite scary. i was lucky to get the single bed (by itself cos there were 3 of us in the room) but if the top person fell off the left side of the bed, she would have landed on me. if she fell to her right, she'd land on the dresser, then floor. health hazard, definitely. the showers were temperamental - sometimes hot or cold, especially if someone was showering in the other bathroom at the same time.. but then since we were out most of the time and returned only to sleep, it was alright.. breakfast and service was good tho! :)

this is an illegal shot of the Sistine chapel.. not allowed to take pictures cos some Japanese company bought the rights to any form of image of the chapel till 2015 or sth like that..
    here's the Colessuem..

and St Peter's Cathedral - the largest church in the world. after seeing this church, the rest of the churches like no kick. can fit like 50 of them in this cathedral. simply humongous and extremely impressive. the size of the words on the top part of the wall (the ones in blue.. can you all see?) is 6 feet in height. omg.

now.. FOOD!! i had loads of gelatos, pasta/spaghetti, pizza and overpriced mineral water in that period of time. here are some pictures of the heavenly sinful pleasures.. from normal flavours like tiramisu and nutella to yogurt-flavor (peach, wild berry etc) and even milk flavor!

and here's some cool pasta!! they come in all shapes and sizes. ribbon-shaped, waves, weird squiggles, curls, even star-of-david-shaped ones! there are some in the color of the germany and italian flag as you can see.. they get the black color from squid ink (can you believe it! haha)

and then we went to venice.. famous for their (again overpriced) gondola rides and glass ornaments. ask darrel to tell you his story of his 16 euro clock he bought from the first glass blowing shop.. which cost 5 euros in the shop after that.. haha. they make a mint out of tourists.. this stupid bull is 8700 euros. !@#$%

    seriously. i'm not BULL-shitting. HAHA
okla.. it's totally customised, handmade, one-of-a kind bull.. but no way i'm paying RM44k for that piece of glass that can break in like 1 sec..
oh, and the hotel was much better as well.. see the comfy king sized bed we got! :)

back to the gondola rides.. this is a gondola with the gondola man (or whatever ppl who row gondolas are called)! :D he gave us a half hour tour around some canals.. VERY relaxing.. ahh.. he's been doing it for about 20 years already. brought us to see the house where the great casanova lived!

here's a night shot from one of venice's many bridges..

it's one of the restaurants we were coaxed to go into but we didn't.. cos the waiters couldn't guess our nationality.. you korean? japanese? chinese (as in china)? hong kong? taiwan? and it just goes on.. finally we had to tell him. he went like OHHHH!!! then after that, he asked, "where's that?" we had to tell him it was near singapore.. then only he knew. so of cos we didn't eat there. LOL. actu the prices were pretty steep as well. :S

more shots of venice.. the houses there are so colourful!!! it's like some LegoLand. haha :)

    pretty nice, eh? :)
it was indeed an awesome trip!
actu i shortened the stories of the trip.. if you want to know more, drop me a comment on the blog/wall post on FB and i'll put up more details.. don't wanna bore/spam the blog! haha

so after italy, i went to london for awhile, then flew to spore, stayed there for 2 days and finally back to kuching.. only managed to meet up with josiah and nat, cos the rest were too busy dancing or working *koff koff* LOL
hopefully i'll see more of you guys when i return on the 19th :)
    and i want updates! HAHA

i so miss you all loads!!!!

    xoxo

    Title : Uuuuuwah
    Time : 1:17 PM

Alright, ignore the weird Titles I've been using. Hehe.. I'm bloggin in the middle of criminal law seminar. XD

Alright... so Nat and Rach are :o going to apply for SgPR this weekend, and Marianne's currently in Singapore.

Haha I'm still here... slogging my ass off, or maybe not...

Well... seriously if there was something I was prepared for right from the time we graduated, it was that we would eventually drift apart. In all practical considerations, it's really inevitable that each of us will have our own lives to live. And as much as I would really want to be able to meet up with you all from time to time, I do understand if anyone can't make it. As long as we can keep in touch from time to time I'm actually quite happy. Cannot chat during school term is ok too... can always chat in hols... So don't feel bad k, I'm not being angry or anything! :D

Haha.. anyway jiayou everyone and keep chionging! I know everyone got exams and everything, so yeah. Take care! Sleep more! Exercise! Eat well! :P

    Cheers

    Title : hello hello
    Time : 6:30 AM

Hello! Shall do a short post today.

Josiah - I hope you're doing better. jiayou okay!:) not that you can't do it, you know you can (and so do we) so START WORKING! (btw i saw the vid of the very free people which you sent - sorry for daoing you ok:()

I suppose it's not people's intention to be dao...and I think that if any of you wanna talk to each other, just drop a message la regardless if that person is busy/away or whatever cuz hopefully that person will see your msg and reply you soon enough. I suppose it won't be such an annoyance anyway. but if you still get dao-ed...then sorry la I suppose people have different priorities in life now.

hence...our next gathering, let's see who's gonna be missing la okay. for all you know i would.

i know that everyone is busy and don't have time to keep in touch and i think that no one is to be blamed anyway. just promise that when we meet up (if we do), things will feel the same like last time. People drift apart - I suppose that is normal and we have some living proofs as well anyway. I suppose what's more important is that even if you drift far far away, I just hope you know when/how to come back.

I think I'm repeating myself too much and I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. But anything la, if you can make any sense out of what I said then that's good. Otherwise just ignore it and go back to your busy lives.

    Title : Random stuff
    Time : 1:35 PM

Oh well... I'm having lots of trouble here. See, I'm on the verge of losing my scholarship already but I'm still not concentrating on my studies. DAMMIT.

    Ok, brief emo moment over.

I didn't mentioned that Wanxin sprung a surprise visit here the other day. Forgot when exactly, but a few weeks back I guess. Yeah anyway it was like in the middle of the night. 9 o'clock maybe XD So Nat, Sharlene, Wanxin and I met up for a while and talked a bit. Heh.

Samuel... he's doing pretty ok (seeing that he'll probably never read this I'm justified to share haha). He's juggling like 3 part-time jobs while he studies. Crazy guy, but he says the experience the jobs are giving him is very worth it.

Yeah. I kinda get dao-ed by people nowadays. Don't really dare to disturb also lah. XF never reply my MSN convos nowadays. :( Yeah, but seriously, if I don't start chatting with you on MSN it's when I see you're Busy or Away. Cuz I know that we all need to study, and I wouldn't like to interrupt.

I suppose that's about it... now it's back to my miserable life once again. Take care y'all.

    Cheers (to you)

    Title : Meh
    Time : 6:23 AM

    Alright...

    Some more updates.

Apparently our juniors did moderately well for their A-levels. Not about to publish their results here, so anything, feel free to ask them directly, or ask me.

I'm doing not so well here. CC is doing... hm... ok I guess. I'm trying to buck up for the year-end exams in order to keep my scholarship so yeah. Damn freaking hard. :(

Oh well. Met with Bobby and Seira and Suen Xin, with CC. Chatted into around 4am at some sleazy hotel (or so Bobby said, and the 'couples' walking past later proved him correct)

Yeah. So... do say jiayou to the juniors who are applying to their various unis.

Everyone take care, hope to see you around May/June/July. Cheerz!

    jojo

    EDIT:

As i don't wanna 'overtake' this post, just wanna add in - we need a skype session soon-ish! my hols are starting on mar 21st till...four weeks later!
